The South Australian State Titles is one of JudoSA's premier events in the year! Open to all eligible competitors. Experienced players represent their Club and compete for the honour of being State Champion<\/b> in their division. This is also an ideal opportunity for less experienced players to compete against people from other clubs in their own weight and age categories to gain valuable competition knowledge and competence. Note, there is no cost for entering extra age divisions, if eligible.\u00a0<\/p>

Weigh-in<\/b> is on Friday 3rd April from 6 - 7pm at The Lights, 3 - 4pm at Pt Augusta Judo Club or 6.30 - 7.30 at Kazoku Judo Club. If you are unable to weigh-in at this time please contact the Event Director on events@judosa.com.au prior to the event.<\/p>

A Kata competition<\/b> will be held for players interested in presenting Nage-no-kata, Katame-no-kata, Ju-no-kata, Kime-no-kata and\/or Kodokan Goshinjutsu. Achievement of a suitable score will count towards the player's next grading presentation and is valid for up-to 2 years from the event.\u00a0<\/p>

This year, the Championships will be preceded by a MONster Event<\/b> for our junior players under 9 years of age. MONsters is organised by Kazoku Judo Club and for details and to register for the MONster Event please review the event flyer on the JudoSA website\u00a0https:\/\/www.judosa.com.au\/<\/a>.<\/p>

All players competing in the State Titles Shiai competition need a blue and white judogi<\/p>

All players competing in the State Titles Kata competition must wear a white judogi<\/p>

As per the JFA Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist. Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted. The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Director at events@judosa.com.au and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enters the mat to compete.<\/p>
